LINARI room fragrance diffusers can generally be used for 6 months continuously until the liquid evaporates - often even longer. The evaporation rate can vary due to natural conditions. It depends on external atmospheric conditions. Dry air, low atmospheric pressure, high temperatures, and combinations of these constellations favor a shortening of the evaporation period.

Only high-quality, long-lasting fragrances are used in LINARI home fragrances. Unopened bottles should be used within 3 years of purchase.

Each of the fragrances used has a different density, which means that the various room fragrances evaporate at different rates. However, this has no direct effect on the intensity of the scent.

Every fragrance has a specific intensity, which is also perceived differently by each individual. However, fragrance intensity also depends on external atmospheric conditions. Experience shows that dry air, high temperatures, low air pressure, and combinations of these factors increase fragrance intensity.

Each Linari room fragrance liquid has a specific color that results from the composition of often dozens of ingredients. Exposure to light and heat can cause the room fragrance liquid to discolor. This usually has no effect on the scent. To prevent this, the bottles should be kept out of direct light and away from high temperatures whenever possible. When left to stand, the liquid may form sediment, which can be almost completely dissolved by gently shaking or stirring the liquid. This does not affect the stability of the fragrances.

The darkening of precious woods is a natural and irreversible process that highlights the beauty of the material. The rate of darkening depends largely on the duration and intensity of light exposure and can be slowed by avoiding strong light sources. The darkening effect of wenge wood is less pronounced and occurs regardless of light exposure.

Most commercially available Room Fragrances use air fresheners designed to mask unpleasant odors, for which only strong, dominant scents are generally suitable. In contrast, Linari uses exclusively high-quality eau de parfums—the same type used in the cosmetics industry—whose purpose is to diffuse a subtle and sensual fragrance, thereby creating a unique olfactory atmosphere.

Remove the cellophane wrapping and take the diffuser bottle out of the folding box. Unscrew the decorative screw cap counterclockwise, remove the transparent plastic splash guard from the glass bottle opening, and remove the aluminum-coated sealing insert and the decorative metal stopper from the screw cap. Then screw the decorative screw cap back on clockwise and insert the evaporating sticks. Be careful when inserting the evaporating sticks to prevent the liquid from spilling out of the bottle.

For the fragrance to unfold, the evaporating sticks must absorb and transport the room fragrance liquid. Just 1–2 hours after inserting the evaporating sticks, the eau de parfum rises through the capillaries to the rim of the bottle and continues to rise gradually until, after about 5–7 days, it reaches its maximum level of approximately 10–15 cm above the top edge of the cap. To enhance diffusion, when the liquid level is low, the evaporating sticks can be turned over and reinserted into the bottle at regular intervals. For optimal diffusion, the bottle should be regularly refilled to the brim with Linari Diffuser Refills 500 ml.

The room fragrance liquid is highly flammable and must therefore be kept away from fire, ignition sources, and heat sources. Do not light the evaporating sticks under any circumstances! Do not drink the eau de parfum! Product-specific safety precautions can be found on the packaging and on the diffuser bottle.

If you do not plan to use the Linari Room Fragrances for a while, simply remove the evaporating sticks from the bottle and insert the included decorative metal stopper with a foam gasket into the screw-top opening from above. The Room Fragrance bottle remains highly decorative even without the evaporating sticks. For transport, we recommend also inserting the included transparent splash guard into the opening of the glass bottle and placing the sealing insert into the screw cap from the bottom.

The velvet coating on LINARI products is made of a special material in which the fibers naturally straighten out on their own over time in areas where they have been compressed. To speed up this process, the surface can be gently brushed with a soft brush. For stubborn indentations, lightly moisten the velvet surface in the compressed area with a water spray bottle beforehand.
